Buspar - treatment of Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD).
Benzodiazepines (DRUG)
Ativan (Lorazepam) - treatment for the symptoms of anxiety or
anxiety associated with depressive symptoms.
Centrax - symptoms of General Anxiety GAD, Panic Disorder and Social
Phobia.
Dalmane (Flurazepam) - some of the symptoms of anxiety and treatment
for insomnia.
Klonopin (Clonazepam) - treatment of panic disorder and depression.
Librium (Chlordiazepoxide hydrochloride) - treatment of anxiety
disorders or for the short-term relief of they symptoms of anxiety.
Paxipam (Halazepam) - used in the short-term treatment of anxiety.
Restoril (Temazepam ) - treatment of insomnia and sometimes used as
a hypnotic sedative to relieve symptoms of anxiety.
Serax (Oxazepam) - It is used in the short-term management of
anxiety, tension, irritability, agitation and anxiety associated
with depression.
Tranxene (Also known as Clorazepate and Azene) - treatment of
anxiety, nervousness and tension associated with an anxiety
disorder.
Xanax (Alprazolam) - the short-term relief of mild to moderate
anxiety, nervousness, tension (related to anxiety) and may be used
to treat panic and depression.
Beta Blockers (DRUG)
Inderal (Propranolol) – management of symptoms in anxiety, panic
attacks, phobias and aggressive behavior.
Tenormin (Atenolol) - management of symptoms in anxiety, panic
attacks, phobias and aggressive behavior.
Monoamine Oxidase Inhibitors (DRUG)
Eldepryl (Selegiline Hydrochloride) - treatment of anxiety if other
treatments have failed.
Marplan (Isocarboxazid) - treat some forms of anxiety (such as panic
and/or phobic symptoms) as well as major depressive disorder.
Nardil (Phenelzine) - panic disorders in which other treatments have
failed. It is also used to treat depression.
Parnate (Tranylcypromine Sulfate) - treat panic disorder, OCD,
social anxiety disorder, symptoms of depression and insomnia.

Celexa (Citalopram HBr) - treat panic disorder, OCD, depression,
Post Traumatic stress disorder and social phobia.
Desryl (Trazodone HCl) - treatment of general anxiety disorder and
depression.
Effexor (Venlafaxine) - short-term treatment of patients with GAD
(generalized anxiety disorder) without MDD (major depressive
disorder). It's also used to treat depression.
Wellbutrin, Wellbutrin SR, Wellbutrin XL (Bupropion) - for major
depression.
Fluvoxamine Maleate - treatment of obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD)
and treat other anxiety-related disorders and depression.
Paxil ( 4 Paroxetine HCI) - treatment of major depressive episode.
Prozac (Fluoxetine Hydrochloride) - reduces the symptoms of panic
disorder, OCD, phobic symptoms, anxiety and depressive symptoms,
hypochondria.
Serzone (Nefazodone Hydrochloride) - for the anxious type of
depression. It helps to alleviate symptoms of sleeplessness and
